Tadao Kobayashi

Executive Vice President, Japan/Asia

Mr. Kobayashi joined Riddle International in 2001, specializing in the transportation industry. He is the recent past Chairman of Toyota (GB) PLC and provides strategic and management guidance to Riddle International clients, projects and operations.

Prior to joining Riddle International, Mr. Kobayashi spent 36 years with Toyota Motor Corporation where he was wholly devoted to the development of overseas operations, contributing significantly to the steady and successful growth of Toyota's European marketing and sales operations. He has created and developed the business and corporate architecture for Toyota Distributors in order to achieve Toyota standards and sustain continuous improvement. His experience extends to Dealer development programs in strategic markets, and he was instrumental in establishing Toyota's European regional headquarters in Belgium.
